An idea, 6 years in the making...
Cabin River Farms began as an idea on a sheet of paper. We wanted to get back to our agricultural roots, but that can be a daunting task in today's age.
So we put together a plan, investment strategy, and a core group of believers. Finally, 2 years ago--after years of planning--we acquired our property in Western Colorado.
We offer a diverse range of agricultural products including hemp, hops, and hay!
PROCESS AND IRRIGATION
We recently completed a farm-wide irrigation infrastructure upgrade to ensure that each plant receives consistent hydration and tailored nutrition.
Much of the industry continues to rely on labor-intensive and less efficient irrigation systems. We are proud to have increased our water-use efficiency by over 50%. We only have one planet--we intend to do our part to keep it healthy for future generations.
